Standards Australia and the ARC Training Centre for the Global Hydrogen Economy (GlobH2E) would like to cordially invite you to an online workshop (Free to attend) on Thursday, 28 April 2022 to map out the current state of standards and regulation for hydrogen and Power-to-X in Australia and to identify gaps and requirements as the country aims to move towards positioning itself as a global hydrogen exporter to Asia-Pacific and Europe.
While the first priority has been the adoption of existing international standards that are fit for the Australian context, it is important that we continually understand from industry and the community what the gaps, barriers and needs are when it comes to Hydrogen technical standards development. Following this workshop, both Standards Australia and GlobH2E expect to get a deeper understanding of the gaps and technical safety requirements associated with hydrogen production, application and use in Australia. This information will feed into the Hydrogen standards development roadmap and assist with prioritisation.
